Bellegreen Visitors' Comments 2005

Winter 2005

This is our first visit but certainly won't be our last ! A real home from home - beautiful spacious cottage, fabulous for hide and seek for the children - we seem have lost one if you find her please return in box supplied !!!

The Bridge was best for food, scenary and walking fantastic with a flutter of snow to start off our brilliant holiday ! Thanks.

Our 5th visit and once again we have had a brilliant time. The girls have really enjoyed themselves and thought the snow was great. Snowball fights, building snowmen and sledging has meant that we have all had great fun ! We will be back.

Very pleasant and well-equipped. Good layout - versatile! Lots of good things provided. (The PANS ARE IN THE DRAWER UNDERNEATH THE OVEN !). We have enjoyed our stay here very much. Thank you.

Spring 2005

Comfortable accommodation and well-equipped although a tea-cosy would be handy ! We did see the sun on the last day !

Comfortable holiday cottage - dishwasher particularly welcome (8 of us all together). Reeth and Dale lovely. Will return.

Lovely homely cottage, everything we needed here. Lovely walks still (our third time here in Reeth) favourite meal Bolton Arms at Downholme. 2nd best C.B. but only just behind, both excellent. Thank you to Dot for keeping it all so nice.

Lovely homely cottage, very well equipped and spacious for us all. The surrounding countryside absolutely fantastic and some real breath taking views. The weather held out and we got some good hikes in. Maps in kitchen came in very handy. Thanks for a great week. Just one problem - don't want to leave now.

Fine accommodation & excellent weather.

Excellent weather and fine accommodation.

Summer 2005

Hosted a family party on Sat and have enjoyed the house on our own for the rest of the week, lots of walking and chilling out ! Its been great, lovely house, scary stairs ! fab location ... Thanks.

Had another fantastic time here, this cottage is the best. The weather could have been a bit kinder to us, but it didn't stop our two dogs Mollie & Lucy having a good time. Heres to next time ... Cheers !

A wonderful place for a family holiday. We enjoyed excellent meals at the Bridge in Grinton and the CB Inn. A lovely house in a beautiful part of the country !

What a nice house ! I wish we could afford something like this. Every eventuality has been catered for, and we found our stay, very enjoyable and comfortable. Nice pint of 'Old Peculier' at the Kings Arms, and lovely food at the Bridge @ Grinton. Mind you watch the mushy peas !!

Had a wonderful holiday. The cottage, location and weather all ovely. Our 2 Cavallier dogs have had a good time too. Will all come back again !

3rd August in a row, and this time was just as enjoyable as the last. We'll be back !!

Impressive cottage, every item we needed & great to have all this space. Reeth as always a most beautiful piece of countryside. Did some excellent walks, recommend the walk to the White House and beyond if legs willing. Fantastic views. Enjoyed Reeth Show, especially the animal judging in the morning. Many thanks for providing everything we needed. Accommodation defintely recommended.

Autumn 2005

Lovely house with every individual need provided for. Super position for enjoyng this pretty village and convenient for exploring the Dales. We had a lovely walk from Langthwaite, this secret little village. We walked up the hill which opened out into a breathtaking panoramic view over wild Swaledale (superb). We finished the week with a delicious meal at the Bridge Inn at Grinton. A great holiday. Thanks you !

We have had a fantastic week as always although it has rained a lot ! Reeth & Bellegreen are as welcoming as ever. Josh (aged 4) was upset to find Suzy & Pebbles had gone to Donkey Heaven but delighted to meet the 3 new donkeys Mickey, Arthur & Donald and to see how much the 2 pot bellied pigs 'Gertie & Ellie' had grown since we were here last ! We have all had a wonderful time - Bridge Inn & CB Inn the best for food in our opinion. Hope to be back again next year with our 2 new niece/nephews due in March/April 06 ! Thanks you.

Our first visit to "Bellegreen", it won't be our last. Super accommodation, lovely village, excellent beer ! and friendly locals. What more could a family ask for - see you in 2006.

Second visit for us, enjoyed it again, hope to visit summer sometime.
